Protecting your assets and your loved ones is paramount to your family’s well-being. I provide full legal representation for managing your estate, drafting and advising your will, and providing you and your loved ones with Power of Attorney. Never let the state, courts or a third party decide what the best interests of your family and assets should be. Work with me to get the legal protection your estate and family deserves.
Don’t let the state determine where your assets go. With a will you can dictate who receives your assets, who takes care of your children and who gets to oversee the execution of your estate. Protect your family and loved ones by having your affairs honored in your will. Leave no shred of doubt to whom and where you want your worldly possessions to go. These are decisions that only you should make
Providing the right person with Power of Attorney ensure the right decisions that affect your life are made with your best interests in mind. I will draft the appropriate authorization to ensure your private affairs, business, or other legal powers are handled by the person you trust most.
Governed by statute and case law, Pennsylvania estate administration is the act of opening, managing, and closing a decedent’s estate. When a loved one passes, the decedent’s property must be properly managed and distributed according to Pennsylvania law. Generally speaking, the estate administration process consists of opening the estate, liquidating or transferring assets, paying creditors, paying inheritance tax, distributing remaining assets to beneficiaries, and closing the estate. Estate administration practice is extremely fact specific and there is never a “one size fits all” solution. Estate administration strategy is largely dependent on the decedent’s marital, family, and financial circumstances, as well as the decedent’s estate plan. With or without a will in effect, it is always highly advisable that a decedent’s family members and loved ones seek an estates attorney’s counsel shortly after death or immediately after the funeral in order to begin the estate administration.
